Job summary

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Multispecialty Care team at St John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL. The role features overnight hours, a 24-hour weekly schedule, and a focus on bedside nursing.

Ideal candidates are patient-focused, mission-driven caregivers who can apply clinical knowledge to coordinate and perform hands-on acute patient care at the bedside. RN licensure and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in state of practice is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Experience in healthcare is preferred.
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform hands-on acute patient care at the bedside.
• Care for patients during overnight shifts (7pm–7am), 24 hrs per week.
• Collaborate with care teams to deliver patient-centered care.

Pay Range: $34.00 - $51.00 A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.

Education Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred.

Experience Qualifications

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice is required.
• Wisconsin: RNs may practice with a valid multi-state RN license as outlined in the Nurse Licensure Compact rules.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
