Position Overview: The Medical Unit Manager oversees daily operations of the Medical Unit, including Withdrawal Management, Inpatient, Residential, and Outpatient services. This role manages staff, ensures quality patient care, compliance with regulations, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate Medical Unit staff including Lead RN, staff RN, LPN, and MA’s.
  • Ensure adherence to clinical standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage operational activities such as staffing, supply chain, and medication management.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and monitor performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain documentation standards and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three years in healthcare operations management, preferably in psychiatric or addiction medicine.
  • One year of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Active RN licensure in Montana.

Skills: Leadership, supervision, planning, scheduling, coordination, proficiency in Microsoft Office, excellent communication skills.

Physical & Work Environment: Office-based with moderate noise, some physical effort, potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens, primarily working in the main facility.
