Prime Healthcare Services is seeking a Float Pool Registered Nurse for Med Surge/Tele at Southern Regional Medical Center in Riverdale, GA. This part-time, night-shift role involves 12-hour shifts delivering safe patient care within Med/Surg. The RN will work under nurse leaders to provide direct care and coordinate patient teaching and monitoring.

The position requires active RN license, BLS, ACLS (preferred), and prior acute care experience. BSN preferred with competitive benefits and shifts.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current preferred.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsabilités

• Direct patient care within the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Direct patient care in Medical/Surgical Unit.
• Directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
• Communicates with physicians about patient condition, tests, and treatment responses.

The Float Pool Registered Nurse for Med Surge/Tele is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice.

• The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care within the Medical/Surgical Unit.
• The Registered Nurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her assigned patients.
• He / She communicates with physician about changes in the patients clinical condition including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
• Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
