Job summary

HCA Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Medical Transport EMT to join the Research Medical Center team. You will support the Paramedic in delivering safe patient care and coordinating transport within a dynamic hospital setting.

The role requires completion of an accredited EMT program and state certification, with BLS, EVOC, and FEMA credentials preferred. This position emphasizes collaboration with Transfer Center and allied providers to ensure smooth patient transfers.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited EMT program is required.
• Applicable State EMT Certification is required.
• BLS card required (AHA or ARC).
• FEMA courses 100/200/700/800 preferred.
• 16-hour EVOC certificate required.
• Pre-hospital emergency services experience preferred.
• Cardiac monitoring experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Paramedic in safe and effective treatment and transport of patients.
• Respond to Transfer Center requests and coordinate with other healthcare providers.
• Facilitate transport as needed to ensure timely patient care.

Job Summary and Qualifications

TheMedicalTransport EMT willoperateon theResearchMedicalCenterMedical TransportTeam. The primary duty of the EMT will be toassistthe Paramedic inrenderingsafe and effective treatment and transport ofHCApatients. Thetransport EMT will respond toTransfer Center requests, coordinate with other healthcare providers, andfacilitatetransport appropriately.

What qualifications you will need:

• Completion of an accredited EMT program is required
• Applicable State EMT Certification
• BLS - American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS Provider issued card required
• FEMA - 100,200,700, 800 preferred
• 16 - hour EVOC certificate
• Pre-hospital emergency services experience preferred
• Cardiac monitoringpreferred

DRIVING RECORD:

This position requires driving anHCA ownedvehicle.The candidate must provide a seven-year driving history from the Department of Motor Vehicles and have no more than six points on their record, with noindicationof unsafe driving habits.
