Pediatrix Medical Group, Inc. is seeking a Medical Transcriptionist to accurately transcribe medical correspondence and clinical reports as dictated by clinicians, while providing clerical support.

You will transcribe dictations into the electronic health record, maintain confidential records, meet a 24-hour turnaround, and ensure documentation timeliness in line with Pediatrix standards. Join a team dedicated to patient care and professional excellence.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1–3 years of related healthcare transcription experience
• Familiarity with healthcare terminology
• Familiarity with transcription software

• Maintain confidential records and distribute reports to referring physicians.
• Operate and maintain transcription equipment.
• Perform clerical and reception duties as needed.

The Medical Transcriptionistis responsible foraccurately transcribing medical correspondence and clinical reports as dictated by the clinicians. This role also provides clerical and administrative support while ensuring strict compliance with confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and organizational policies

• Transcribes medical dictation (e.g., consults, discharge summaries, operative reports, referral letters, histories and physicals, procedure notes, and follow-up visits) from dictation equipment or written drafts andenters intoEHR .
• Ensuresaccuratetranscription with a 24-hour turnaround time.
• Ensure physicians are adhering to documentation timeliness perPediatrixstandard.
• Maintains and distributes patient reports and correspondence to referring physicians.
• Maintains organized, confidential records and updated referring physician contact information.
• Operates andmaintainstranscription equipment.
• Performs clerical and reception duties as needed.
• Communicateprofessionally and courteously with patients, families, providers, and staff.
• Treats all individuals with dignity, respect, and cultural sensitivity.
• Maintains strict confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and company policy.
• Follows all safety, compliance, and organizational procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education:

• High School Diploma
• Equivalentcombination of relevant education and experience will be considered

Experience Industry: Healthcare

Experience:

• One to threeyears’related experience and/or training in a healthcare setting
• Familiarity with a healthcare setting and ability todemonstrateknowledge of medical terminology strongly preferred

Skills/Abilities:

• Familiarity with transcriptionsoftware
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
