Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in medical technology or a biological/chemical science from an accredited college or university.
• ASCP certification is preferred but not required.
• If ASCP certified, salary will be adjusted accordingly.

Responsibilities

• Performs standardized laboratory tests across clinical chemistry, immunology, hematology, microbiology, molecular microbiology and urinalysis.
• Operates automated testing platforms and immunoassay analyzers.
• Performs tests requiring pipettors, dilutors, spectrophotometers and microscopes.
• Maintains records of examinations and patient test results.
• Ensures quality control, calibration, and safety procedures are followed.
