Job summary

HCA HealthONE Aurora is seeking a Medical Technologist PRN to perform high‑quality laboratory testing across Neonatal to Geriatric patients in a CAP/JCAHO/OSHA compliant setting. You will work within the HealthONE Aurora campuses and support regional labs such as Centennial Medical Plaza and Saddle Rock ER.

The role requires ASCP/HEW/AMT or equivalent certification within 6 months of hire; bachelor’s or associate’s degree in lab science or medical technology; hospital lab experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensure/Certification/Registration: ASCP, HEW, AMT or equivalent required within six (6) months of hire. ASCP preferred.
• Education: bachelor’s or associate’s degree as described above from an accredited institution.
• Experience: hospital laboratory experience desired but not required.
• Special Qualifications: knowledge of QC, QA and process improvement; competent in age-related laboratory values and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical quality testing for neonates to geriatric patients in a CAP/JCAHO/OSHA/AABB/FDA/CLIA compliant laboratory.
• Maintains ongoing QC/QA and participates in process improvement; follows policies and procedures across HealthONE Aurora campuses.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in chemical/physical/biological/clinical laboratory science or medical technology

Associate’s degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology
