Job Summary and Qualifications

This position requires technical skills in all areas of the clinical laboratory, including performing quality control and maintaining laboratory information systems to ensure proper file and equipment management. The Medical Technologist will perform standard laboratory procedures with a broad use of independent judgment and minimal supervision. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment and records, and performing quality control related to test performance.

• BS degree in Medical Technology or Laboratory Science.
• ASCP certification or equivalent, or eligible for certification within 6 months.
• Preferred: 1 year of experience.
