Qualifications

• Ability to mentor or support junior teammates.
• Demonstrated phlebotomy judgment when typical procedures don’t fit.
• Basic networking knowledge related to phlebotomy workflows.
• Interest or viewpoint on Apollo's space program.

Responsibilities

• Log every Phlebotomy reading into KY registry for continuity of care.
• Overnight shifts in Covington, KY with independent judgment.
• Triage walk-in concerns by acuity and escalate to on-call provider as needed.
• Manage wound care, IV therapy, and routine clinical interventions.
• Monitor telemetry for arrhythmias and respond to rhythm changes.
• Handover at shift change using SBAR to ensure no gaps.
• Calibrate equipment and log QC checks every shift.
• Uphold infection control standards and safety practices.
