Job summary

University Hospital - UMC in Louisville, KY is seeking a Medical Technologist to collect blood specimens and perform hematology, chemistry, and microbiology testing in-house. You will process specimens, prepare them for reference labs, and communicate with providers via Allscripts EHR.

The role requires CLIA knowledge, ASCP/NCA/AMT certification, and at least 1 year of experience; familiarity with pediatric patients is preferred. You will maintain QA, safety, and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical, or biological sciences or medical technology.
• Certified as Medical Technologist by ASCP, NCA, or AMT.
• Experience with CLIA regulations and proficiency testing.

Responsibilities
