St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center is seeking a Medical Technologist (Non-Registered) for a full-time role in Enid, OK. You’ll perform diverse analytical procedures across multiple lab disciplines, supporting accurate diagnoses and high-quality patient care.

The position emphasizes phlebotomy, specimen handling, and QC activities, with opportunities to contribute to a collaborative imaging and laboratory team. Local hospital benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program with completion of approved internship in Medical Technology preferred.
• Previous medical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical procedures across hematology, chemistry, microbiology, blood bank, serology, urinalysis, coagulation and phlebotomy.
• Demonstrate proficiency in specimen collection using age-appropriate techniques.
• Ensure safe handling and preservation of specimens to maintain integrity.
• Label, accession, and deliver specimens to correct departments.
• Respond to STAT, ASAP, NOW, and outpatient phlebotomy requests.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on laboratory instruments.
• Contribute to Quality Control procedures and documentation.
• Communicate critical information to departments and alert staff of STAT orders.
