Jersey Community Hospital in Illinois seeks a Medical Laboratory Technician to perform routine biological/biochemical tests and analyze results to assist physicians in patient diagnosis and care.

The role requires completion of a medical laboratory technology program and/or equivalent education, with registration or registry eligibility. Strong communication and mathematical skills are essential as is the ability to collaborate with lab leadership and clinical staff.

Qualifications

• Completion of a medical laboratory technology program or equivalent education, training, and/or experience.
• Registration or registry eligibility is required or preferred.

Responsabilités

• Performs routine, standardized biological/biochemical test procedures and analyzes results to assist the physician in the diagnosis/clinical management of patients.
• Collaborates with Physicians/Lab Director on patient data.
• Provides age-specific treatment/care, based on the principles of growth/development.
• Other roles and responsibilities as assigned.
