Job summary

The role requires training on GLPs, onboarding tasks, and proficiency in core techniques such as urinalysis, coagulation, hematology, and chemistry. Salary ranges from $28.00 to $32.00 per hour, depending on experience and location.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree in medical laboratory technology (MLT) or related field; Bachelor's degree in medical technology preferred.
• Experience: 0-1 year in a clinical pathology laboratory.
• Certification/Licensure: MLT, MT, or MLS with certification or eligible (ASCP or HEW) preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to GLPs and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic medical technology techniques on primary benches (urinalysis, coagulation, hematology, chemistry).
• Process specimens: check for clots, prepare blood smears, and pipette serum/plasma.
• Train on GLPs and onboarding tasks reading protocols, SOPs, and BOPs.
• Maintain good welfare and humane care for animals where applicable and work in a collaborative team environment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
