Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of experience or associate’s degree with 5 years in a CLIA certified lab.
- Experience in CAP or COLA accredited labs.
- Experience using EMR and LIS systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform waived and moderately complex tests and procedures.
- Utilize electronic Medical Record and Laboratory Information Systems.
- Conduct quality control, calibrations, proficiency testing and continuing education per policies.
- Manage laboratory inventory and assist with procurement of supplies.
- Collect specimens with proper patient preparation and identification.
