Shift: 7am - 3:30pm / Rotating every other weekend / Rotating holidays

We are seeking a Medical Technologist who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role involves performing routine and specialized procedures to gather data or prepare products for diagnosing and treating diseases, ensuring high-quality patient care. Do you have what it takes?

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Certification: MT-STATE, MT-AAB, MT-AMT, CLSP, IMLS, BB-ASCP, C-ASCP, H-ASCP, MLS-ASCP, MT-ASCP, MB-ASCP, MP-ASCP, or MT-NCA

Responsibilities:

• Verify patient demographic information and specimen suitability, troubleshoot errors, and manage special orders
• Perform and evaluate routine and special procedures accurately, recognize abnormal results, and perform timely problem-solving
• Manage supply inventory and ensure proper handling and disposal of supplies
• Conduct and document quality control procedures, quarantine defective reagents
• Participate in staff training and continuing education
• Serve as 'in-charge' technologist in the absence of supervisors, prioritize workflow, and document issues and resolutions
