Valley Health in Michigan is seeking a Medical Technologist to perform automated and manual testing across Blood Bank, Chemistry, Coagulation, Hematology, Microbiology and Serology. You will support patient care for all ages and assist with instrument maintenance and calibration QC.

Medical Technologists are professional health caregivers who constantly seek performance improvement in all areas of laboratory analysis. The Medical Technologist will interact and service all age groups including neonatal, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric. They must be proficient in phlebotomy for the groups (if applicable). All technicians and technologists are generalists and must be able to perform automated and manual testing in Blood Bank, Chemistry, Coagulation, Hematology, Microbiology, and Serology. They must have the ability to perform instrument maintenance and be competent to interpret calibrations and QC. They must be able to prioritize work and maintain a professional demeanor under stress.

Bachelor's degree in a chemical, biological, clinical or medical laboratory science, or medical technology from an accredited institution. Note: Alternative degrees in science and U.S. military laboratory training can be accepted if CLIA alternative education requirements are shown to have been met. Transcripts will need to be submitted with application.
West Virginia DHHR Clinical Laboratory Practitioner License, if applicable.
