WVU Medicine Golisano Children's in Morgantown seeks a Medical Technologist to analyze samples and perform laboratory tests while ensuring accurate results. This position requires a Bachelor's in Medical Technology or a related field and relevant licensure.

One Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology/Medical (Clinical) Laboratory Science OR a Bachelor’s degree in a chemical or biological science, or 30 or more years of previous experience concurrent with CLIA grandfathered exception.
This position will train for 10-12 weeks on dayshift in Blood Bank and Hematology. Once trained this employee will work night shift including rotating weekends and holidays.
A degree in Medical Laboratory Science is preferred. Applicants holding Bachelor of Science degrees in a related science such as Microbiology, Biology, or Chemistry, must have one year pertinent full-time experience or training in a clinical laboratory setting to be eligible for state licensure. State Licensure must be obtained within 90 days of hire, 30 days preferred.
