You will analyze data, identify when corrective actions are needed, and uphold safety, compliance, and quality control in a busy laboratory environment. Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology or related science with MT training, plus 1 year of MT experience and ASCP (or equivalent) certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology or a related field with MT training.
• 1 year of laboratory training or experience performing high complexity testing.
• ASCP certification or equivalent.
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to operate general laboratory equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform a vital part of the patient care process through moderate and high complexity testing.
• Analyze, review, and report testing results.
• Recognize when corrective action is needed and implement effective solutions.
• Work in a fast-paced laboratory environment with biological and chemical hazards.
