Qualifications

• 1 - 2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory preferred.

Responsibilities

• Aids the phlebotomists in the collection of specimens.
• Performs tests within the laboratory ordered by physicians.
• Processes and verifies quality of samples.
• Assures correlation and verification of test results.
• Processes specimens for delayed testing or referral.
• Performs daily quality control for each test.
• Assists with secretarial duties as needed.
• Ensures timely and friendly phone response.
• Assists in timely reporting of outpatient results.
