Job summary

Phoebe Putney Health System in Americus, GA, is seeking a Full-time Medical Laboratory Technologist to perform analytical tests on human body substances and deliver accurate results. You will monitor quality systems, interpret data, and provide clinical information to physicians, nurses, and other care staff.

The role may include phlebotomy duties, training new staff, and acting as designate in charge when needed, with day shifts of four nine-hour workdays per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology is required.
• CLIA high complexity testing minimum requirements acceptable with science degree.
• 1+ years clinical laboratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produces accurate and timely laboratory results and information.
• Correlates and interprets test data to support diagnosis and treatment.
• Monitors quality assurance and maintains laboratory instrumentation and documentation.
