Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center is seeking a Medical Technologist for the Core Lab Nights in Miami Beach, FL. You will perform quality control, manage specimens, and support patient testing with a focus on accuracy and timely reporting.

The role requires Florida licensure or eligibility, completion of a certified medical technology program, and readiness to work nights. Sign-on bonus of $15K is offered along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Licensed by the State of Florida (or eligible) in Medical Technology.
• Board certification preferred or eligible for national certification.
• Completion of a medical technology training program.

Responsibilities

• Communicates at shift change and follows up on pending orders from prior shift.
• Performs quality control and documents deviations for supervisor review.
• Maintains inventory to ensure patient care and supply readiness.
• Identifies instrument issues and takes corrective action to minimize delays.
• Monitors results and follows lab policy for PPE and waste handling.
• Trains and supports staff; may cover charge tech duties as needed.
