HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake is seeking a Medical Technologist to join our laboratory team. You will perform routine and specialized testing on body fluids, ensuring accuracy and patient safety while supporting care providers.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor Degree in Medical Technology/CLS, MT(ASCP) preferred, and at least 3 years in Blood Bank. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities to grow within a leading healthcare system.

Formación

• Bachelor degree in Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science (MT/CLS) from an accredited institution.
• MT (ASCP) or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of Blood Bank clinical experience.
• Must have sufficient Blood Bank experience to independently cover the department.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine, complex or specialized bacteriological, hematological, chemical, immunological and serological testing on body fluids.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses and other care providers to ensure continuity of patient care.
• Demonstrate accuracy for all testing performed and adhere to policy and procedure.
• Conduct quality control and proficiency testing as required.
