Job summary

ScionHealth-affiliated Kindred Hospital San Francisco Bay Area is a 99-bed long-term acute care facility providing 24/7 laboratory services to support patient diagnosis and monitoring. The role focuses on routine and special tests across hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, coagulation, blood bank and microbiology.

You will perform venipuncture, maintain documentation, follow QC policies, and ensure accurate reporting under supervision. English fluency and a science degree are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological science, or medical technology from an accredited institution.
• Current license issued by the State where the lab is located, if licensing is required.
• Certification as Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scientist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs analyses across hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, coagulation, blood bank and microbiology.
• Performs venipuncture, finger stick, or heel stick as requested.
• Maintains records for maintenance and quality control.
