Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center seeks a skilled Medical Technologist to perform clinical laboratory testing across bacteriology, chemistry, hematology/coagulation, serology and urinalysis, with independent judgment per established procedures.
The role includes occasional phlebotomy and supervisory responsibilities, requiring licensure and a bachelor’s degree in medical technology or equivalent.
Performs clinical laboratory testing requiring the exercise of independent judgment and discretion as per established procedures that includes: Bacteriology, Blood Banking, Chemistry, Hematology/Coagulation, Serology, and Urinalysis. Performs phlebotomy duties as required and is assigned supervisory responsibilities.
Licensure, Certification, Registration, etc.: Certification as a Medical Technologist by ASCP, NCA, or HEW.
Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to perform phlebotomy duties for neonate, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required. Graduate from an approved school of medical technology - Clinical Laboratory Scientist.
