Job summary

OSM Thome Limited seeks a qualified Medic to join our Service Operation Vessel crew in Brunei. You will deliver medical care onboard, maintain stock, and support safety and wellbeing of all crew at sea. The role requires valid medical license, offshore experience is a plus, and the ability to work independently in a remote marine environment.

English communication skills are essential. This is a full-time position aboard a ship, with rotations and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Qualified Medic, Nurse or Paramedic with valid professional license.
• Offshore/maritime experience is an advantage.
• Valid offshore medical fitness certificate.
• Up-to-date certificates in first aid, trauma care and basic life support (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid, emergency care and routine medical treatment to crew and offshore personnel
• Maintain medical inventory, equipment and medicines according to company and flag state requirements
• Keep accurate medical records and prepare medical reports as required
• Carry out health checks, wellness monitoring and basic health education onboard
• Support the Master and HSE team in all health-related matters and emergency drills
• Ensure the vessel’s medical facilities are clean, organized and ready for use at all times
