Valley Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse II (RN II) for MEDICAL/SURGICAL on the Third Shift. The RN II provides care using the nursing process, coordinates with the care team, and promotes patient safety and communication.

Education: RN Diploma/ASN/ADN required; BSN preferred. Experience: 1872 hours (936 if BSN). Certifications: RN license, BLS; ACLS; Labor and Delivery certifications may be required within 6 months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, planning, evaluation, documentation.
• Direct, coordinate, and participate in patient teaching and safety initiatives.
• Maintain quality communication, teamwork and leadership within the health care team.
• Serve as Charge Nurse and participate in unit initiatives and professional practice.
