Job summary

Valley Health is seeking a Registered Nurse II for the Third Shift to deliver patient-centered care in a high-quality environment. You will perform the nursing process, coordinate patient education and collaborate with diverse health-team members to ensure safety and excellence in outcomes.

Licensing depends on state of work with AHA BLS required; BSN preferred. Required are an ADN/ASN, RN license, and experience meeting RN I standards, plus commitment to competency ladders and departmental

Qualifications

• Meets all requirements of an RN I and is competent to provide care using the nursing process.
• RN license required in applicable state with multistate or single-state licensure.
• BLS Certification (AHA Healthcare Provider) required before orientation completion.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Provide quality communication, teamwork, leadership and patient teaching.
• Coordinate activities of health team personnel and participate in quality/safety initiatives.

Education

Associates Nursing (RN Diploma, ASN or ADN)
