Job summary

Covenant HealthCare in Michigan is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide leadership, assessment, and coordination of patient care across inpatient units. You will educate patients and families, ensure safety, and contribute to discharge planning and quality initiatives.

The role requires NLN-accredited nursing education, MI RN licensure, and BLS certification, with at least one year of acute care experience preferred. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduation from NLN accredited school of nursing.
• Registered Nurse with current licensure in the State of Michigan.
• BLS certification required.
• Attends unit conferences, in-service programs and continuing education activities.

Responsibilities

• Supports patient flow through adherence to unit policies.
• Communicates with patients and families professionally.
• Assess, care for and treat patients according to Covenant HealthCare guidelines.
• Document care observations in the electronic record accurately and timely.
• Participate in discharge planning and coordinating care.
• Delegates and supervises care within established standards.
• Participate in quality management and infection control efforts.
