AZ General Hospital Mesa is seeking a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver compassionate, high-quality care and coordinate individualized patient plans within a dynamic, interdisciplinary team.

This role requires strong assessment, critical thinking, and a patient-first mindset. You’ll contribute to fast-paced recovery and collaborate with Mercy Gilbert Medical Center and CommonSpirit Health networks to advance professional growth.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current Registered Nurse license in AZ
• American Heart Association certifications: BLS; ACLS within 6 months of hire
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• 1 year of recent acute care experience preferred

Responsabilidades

• Provides comprehensive, safe, and effective nursing care to achieve desired health outcomes for the patient.
• Recognizes and responds quickly to changes in patient condition (lab, vitals, test values) with timely clinical actions.
• Delegates tasks based on patient needs, safety, and complexity within scope of practice.
• Delivers culturally sensitive care respecting patients' values and beliefs.
• Applies negotiation and conflict management strategies.

• Provides comprehensive, safe, and effective, evidence-based nursing care to achieve desired health outcomes for the patient.


• Demonstrates the ability to recognize and adapt to changes in patients condition (i.e. Lab, vitals, signs and test values) in a timely and clinically appropriate manner.


• Delegates tasks based on the needs of the patient, potential for harm, patient stability, task complexity, and outcome predictability within the scope of skill set and practice.


• Uses knowledge of cultural differences to provide patient care that is sensitive to and consistent with cultural values, beliefs, and customs.


• Applies negotiation and conflict management strategies.
