Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Specialty Educator (RN) to develop, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive education program within a requested specialty. You will coordinate orientation, staff competency, and ongoing education based on needs assessments and regulatory requirements.

You will collaborate with Clinical Specialists, facility educators, and providers as an educator, facilitator, consultant, researcher, and change agent to improve patient care quality and cost-effectiveness in your

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
RN licensure in the state of employment.
Nursing specialty certification to be obtained within 6 months; within 1 year of hire or transfer.
Three years of nursing experience.
Two years of experience in the designated specialty.
Master's degree in nursing, education, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive education program within your specialty.
Coordinate orientation with facility departments, ongoing staff competency, and continued education.
Collaborate with Clinical Specialists, educators, and providers as educator, facilitator, consultant, researcher, and change agent.
Enhance patient care quality and cost-effectiveness through specialty education initiatives.
Support Medical Surgical Clinical Education for Holy Cross Hospitals in Utah.
