Job summary

Join Our Team as a Medical Support Assistant!

Our client, the leading multi-specialty healthcare organization in Westchester and Duchess counties, is seeking dedicated Medical Support Assistants to join their dynamic team!

Position Overview

As a Clinical Medical Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in providing care and education to patients, adhering to established standards and practices. You'll update patient charts in EMR systems, document changes, and collaborate with other care team members to ensure seamless care delivery and active patient participation. Additionally, you'll be responsible for restocking rooms. Specialties available include OBGYN, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Surgery, and Dermatology.

Responsibilities

  • Provide care and education to patients following established standards and practices.
  • Update patient charts in EMR systems and document changes.
  • Coordinate with other members of the care team to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Facilitate maximal coordination of efforts and active patient participation in planning and care.

  • Evidence of prior stable employment and/or favorable references

Work Environment

  • Schedule:Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
  • Dress Code:Scrubs
  • Locations:Various departments including Gastroenterology, Pediatrics, Surgery, Orthopedics, Cardiology, and Phlebotomy

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00/hr.
