Job summary

Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center, part of Universal Health Services, seeks an experienced Supply Chain - Logistics Supervisor to oversee the medical supply warehouse. The role includes managing distributions, inventory control, and ensuring timely stocking and delivery within the hospital.

The ideal candidate will supervise staff, maintain accuracy in the automated inventory system, and contribute to department goals while supporting safety and productivity in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• College degree or 3 years in healthcare environment.
• 2 year supervisory experience; 3 years preferred.
• License/Certification: Six Sigma Yellow Belt.
• Must have warehouse experience

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage warehouse staff, including training scheduling, and performance evaluations.
• Coordinates and supports the management of storage and timely delivery of all stock supplies within the hospital.
• Ensures inventory items are accounted for in the automated system with Purchasing’s Analysts.
• Demonstrate proactive approach to addressing employee issues and communicate findings to staff.
• Participates in setting long- and short-range goals for the department aligned with hospital objectives.
• Performs other duties as assigned/required.
