Cardinal Health is hiring a Medical Supply Delivery and Installation Technician for Depot Operations in Durham, NC. You will deliver and install critical medical equipment at patients’ homes, interact directly with patients and caregivers, and maintain equipment and vehicles.
Training is provided, and a CDL is not required. You will handle Bluetooth pairing, tablet setup, and minor troubleshooting, while ensuring safety and compliance with healthcare regulations.

Show empathy and compassion for customers/patients in every situation
Deliver medical equipment using company transit van (non-CDL) topatient’s homes andhospital customer locations
Load and unload products and equipment to and from company vehicles that remain on-site when not in use.
Perform minor technical installation and de-installation in the home(examples: tablet setup, bluetooth pairing)and troubleshoot technology in the home as the customer requires
Maintain vehicles in proper working conditionandcleanliness
Utilizecompanyphonesfororder management,navigation,andinventory updates
Hold self and associates accountable for conducting work in a safe manner
Ensure quality service is provided to customers and ensure prompt follow-through on customer correspondence,complaintsand/orinquiries
Conductdurable medicalequipment cleaning procedures at the Depot
Will satisfactorily complete training and be responsible for Cardinal Health compliance and regulations concerning OSHA, DEA, FDA, Stateand local authorities
No healthcare experience necessary – paid training provided
High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
Must hold a valid driver's license and have a good driving record
Company vehicle provided, no CDL required
Ability tosafely move equipment weighing up to75 pounds with appropriate lifting techniques and equipment
Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or evening hours
Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods of time
Strong customer service and communication skills
Flexibility to work various shifts or optional overtime as needed
Ability to usephones andtablets, and conduct minor technology installation and troubleshooting
Subject to customer requirements, vaccinations (including Influenza, MMR and Hepatitis B) or legitimate accommodation will be required.
Applies knowledge and company policies to complete a variety of tasks
Demonstrates a working knowledge of jobs outside area of responsibility
Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications
Works on assignments that are moderately difficult requiring judgment in resolving issues
May assist in recommendation of processes on new assignments
Adheres to all quality guidelines
Works with limited supervision.
Work occasionally involves review of output by work lead or supervisor
May provide general guidance or technical assistance to less experienced team members
Full-Time
Shift schedule is 4 to 5 days per week, including at least 1 weekend day each week.
Shifts are scheduledweeksin advance, attempting to provide as much consistency asbusiness needs permit.
Opportunities for optional additional hours or overtime.
1st Shift can start as early as 7am; 2nd shift ends as late as 9pm(business needs may occasionally require schedule adjustments)
