Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking a Medical Supply Delivery and Installation Technician for Depot Operations in Peabody, MA. You will deliver and install critical medical equipment in patients' homes, troubleshoot technology, and coordinate with health-system partners to support care at home.

The role emphasizes compassion, safe driving, and reliable service. Training provided; vaccination requirements may apply per policy. Shift options include full-time schedules with some weekend work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or equivalent work experience.
• Must hold a valid driver's license and have a good driving record.
• Company vehicle provided, no CDL required.
• Ability to safely move equipment weighing up to 75 pounds with proper lifting techniques.
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or evening hours.
• Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Help patients receive hospital-level care in the comfort of their homes.As aCardinal HealthVelocareTMTechnician,you'lldeliver and set up critical medical equipment and technology, interact directly with patients and caregivers, and play an essential role in helping health systems provide advanced care at home.

Responsibilities

• Show empathy and compassion for customers/patients in every situation
• Deliver medical equipment using company transit van (non-CDL) to patient’s homes and hospital customer locations
• Load and unload products and equipment to and from company vehicles that remain on-site when not in use.
• Perform minor technical installation and de-installation in the home(examples: tablet setup,bluetoothpairing) and troubleshoot technology in the home as the customer requires
• Maintain vehicles in proper working condition and cleanliness
• Utilize company phones for order management, navigation, and inventory updates
• Hold self and associates accountable for conducting work in a safe manner
• Ensure quality service is provided to customers and ensure prompt follow-through on customer correspondence, complaints and/or inquiries
• Conduct durable medical equipment cleaning procedures at the Depot
• Will satisfactorily complete training and be responsible for Cardinal Health compliance and regulations concerning OSHA, DEA, FDA, State and local authorities
• No healthcare experience necessary - paid training provided

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid driver's license and have a good driving record
• Company vehicle provided, no CDL required
• Ability to safely move equipment weighing up to 75 pounds with appropriate lifting techniques and equipment
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or evening hours
• Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods of time
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Flexibility to work various shifts or optional overtime as needed
• Ability to use phones and tablets, and conduct minor technology installation and troubleshooting

Shift/Schedule:

• Full-Time
• Shift schedule is 4 to 5 days per week, including at least 1 weekend day each week.
• Shifts are scheduled weeks in advance, attempting to provide as much consistency as business needs permit.
• Opportunities for optional additional hours or overtime.
• 1st Shift can start as early as 7am; 2nd shift ends as late as 9pm (business needs may occasionally require schedule adjustments).
