Job summary

WH Wheeling Hospital Inc. is seeking a Supply Chain Technician to ensure materials are received, stored, and distributed with full accountability in the materials management system.

The role involves data entry, maintaining inventory levels, PAR management, and delivering supplies across the hospital. Applicants should have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and 1 year of inventory or warehouse experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Data input experience is preferred.
• One year of inventory management experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintaining appropriate inventory levels and PAR level recommendations.
• Understand supply automation system for daily restocking and PAR management.
• Handle supply requisitions and deliver supplies hospital-wide in a timely, accurate manner.
• Assist staff with ordering supplies, including walk-up and emergency orders.
• Support mailroom functions and daily shipping duties (FedEx/UPS).
• Maintain storeroom and receiving areas; ensure cleanliness and organization.
• Operate material handling equipment safely (pallet jack, carts, hand trucks).
• Contribute to cycle counts and physical inventories as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and hospital policies.
