Job summary

UHC United Hospital Center is looking for a Supply Chain Technician to ensure proper receiving, storage, and distribution of materials with accountability for data in the materials management system.

Key duties include maintaining inventory levels, performing cycle counts, processing requisitions, and delivering supplies throughout the hospital while following safety policies and department guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Must possess a valid motor vehicle operator’s license.
• Data input experience preferred.
• One year work experience in inventory management or warehouse distribution preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Buyers and Supply Chain leadership to maintain inventory levels and PAR recommendations.
• Monitor daily restocking and PAR level management using supply automation systems.
• Enter, fill, and deliver all supply requisitions.
• Deliver supplies hospital-wide in a timely and accurate manner.
• Assist staff with ordering supplies, including walk-up and emergency orders.
• Verify and document material contents and shipments on official records.
• Maintain storeroom, dock, and receiving areas in clean, organized condition.
• Operate pallet jacks, carts, and hand trucks safely.
• Participate in physical inventories and cycle counts.
• Handle mailroom duties and courier runs as needed.
• Follow hospital policies and wear appropriate PPE in stocking areas.
