Responsibilities

• Performs clerical and physical tasks related to shipping and receiving of supplies, equipment and materials.
• Receives and unloads incoming materials and compares packing slip with purchase order to verify accuracy of shipment.
• Liaises with vendor representatives to rectify damages, shortages, or nonconformance, and coordinates with Purchasing/Accounts.
• Participates in CIP, quality improvement and evaluation activities to ensure hospital quality standards are met.
• Follows safety procedures and addresses environmental safety factors.
