Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Administrative or clerical 1-3 years of experience.
• Ability to perform manual labor and heavy lifting.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to research, analyze, and resolve shipping and delivery errors.

Responsibilities

• Performs clerical and physical tasks related to shipping and receiving of supplies, equipment, and materials.
• Receives and unloads incoming materials and compares information on packing slip with purchase order to verify accuracy of shipment.
• Corresponds with vendor representatives to rectify problems and discrepancies, such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications.
• Participates in CIP, quality improvement and evaluation activities and implements measures to ensure that hospital, DNV and other quality standards are met.
• Recognizes and responds appropriately to environmental safety factors.
