Mercy Health seeks an experienced Inventory & Supply Chain professional in Ohio to manage specialized medical supply inventories, par locations, and implants. You will lead inventory control, recalls, and expedites while mentoring associates and ensuring compliance with cost accounting policies.

The role emphasizes process improvement, ERP training, and collaboration with department leaders to support patient care and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail, critical thinking, and strong communication are essential.
• Experience with lean methodologies and 5S programs is valued.
• Proficiency in managing supply inventory and ERP systems is expected.

Responsibilities

• Manage specialized medical supply par locations, inventories, and implants; adjust items and levels per utilization analysis.
• Oversee inventory management program including turns, excess, stock rotation, and expiration dates.
• Manage consignment inventory programs and compliance documentation.
• Submit purchase and bill-only requisitions per policies.
• Research PO statuses and resolve inventory issues.
• Handle backorders and stock-out requests; communicate impact to leaders.
• Arrange urgent expediting transportation for patient care.
• Reconcile shipping errors and mis-shipped products.
• Investigate recalls and maintain recall records.
• Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives for Supply Chain.
• Onboard and train associates on ERP and Supply Chain processes.
