Job summary

Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, CO is seeking an Inventory Coordinator to manage inventory for departments, ensuring supplies are stocked and replenished with proper par levels. You will work with staff to maintain organized storage and accurate records.

The role involves using SCIS to track distribution, perform cycle counts, process documents, and coordinate timely deliveries. Schedule is Thursday to Saturday with 40 hours per week and a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Six months of related Materials Management experience.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to understand and speak English clearly, follow verbal and written instructions, and understand customer communications.
• Experience using basic word processing, spreadsheets, internet, e-mail, and scheduling applications.
• Experience in a role requiring strong attention to detail, accuracy, and dependability.
• Demonstrated ability to visually inspect boxes, packing slips, computed reports, and like objects.
• Demonstrated ability to use a pallet jack and other materials handling equipment (e.g., hand truck, carts).
• Experience in a role working with healthcare supplies.

Responsibilities

• Perform inventory control on stock and non-stock items, set par levels, identify and adjust to trends, and keep supplies binned and organized.
• Order and deliver supplies for the department using appropriate technology, systems, and suppliers.
• Process documents (freight bill, bill of lading, packing slips) per Intermountain policy for prompt input and filing.
• Communicate information concerning supply levels, new products, standardization, and implementation to staff; troubleshoot issues.
• Assign tasks to backup or fill in for Coordinator I.
• Restock supplies considering shelf life and par cart maintenance.
• Demonstrate proficiency in cycle counts; certification may be required.
• Validate incoming product via tote scanning, verification, and tote delivery.
• Utilize the SCIS system to manage distribution, inventory, receiving, departmental files, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with policy; review daily/weekly/monthly reports for assigned locations.
