Job summary

Intermountain Health Riverton Hospital is seeking an Inventory Clerk to oversee day-to-day supplies for the assigned department. You will manage stock levels, par locations, and kanban visuals to ensure clinical areas are stocked and ready.

The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and experience with basic warehouse tools. Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, 6:00am–2:30pm, with an hourly wage range shown in the posting.

Qualifications

• Six Months of related Materials Management experience.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to understand and speak English clearly, follow verbal and written instructions, and understand customer communications.
• Experience using basic word processing, spreadsheets, internet, e-mail, and scheduling applications.
• Experience in a role requiring strong attention to detail, accuracy, and dependability.
• Demonstrated ability to visually inspect boxes, packing slips, computed reports, and like objects.
• Demonstrated ability to use a pallet jack and other materials handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs inventory control on stock and non-stock items for assigned units.
• Orders and delivers supplies for the department using appropriate technology and suppliers.
• Communicate information concerning supply levels, new products, and standardization to department staff.
• Responsible for Par Location Management, PIRS Replenishment, Location Maintenance, Delivery, Label maintenance and Kanban visuals.
• Monitors quantity on hand issues, reconciling discrepancies.
