Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Albuquerque, NM, is seeking a Medical Staff Credential Coordinator to support credentialing programs across medical and allied health staff. You will coordinate internal processes, monitor timeliness, audit data accuracy, and report findings to leadership.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree in medical staff services or related field, 3–5 years credentialing experience, and professional certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or diploma in medical staff services preferred.
• 3–5 years experience in medical staff affairs/credentialing preferred.
• CPMSM or CPCS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules, and daily CVO workflow.
• Develop policies and procedures to meet regulatory requirements.
• Manage special projects as assigned.
• Support leadership to coordinate departmental activities and goals.
• Investigate data discrepancies and determine corrective actions.
• Provide timely responses to provider, client, and customer inquiries.
• Maintain department quality indicators statistics.
• Train new and current staff on procedures and databases.
• Serve as SME on national accreditation and regs.
