Advocate Health, based in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Credentialing Specialist for centralized credentialing and reappointment across providers. You will support medical staff committees and ensure regulatory compliance in credentialing processes.

The role requires familiarity with accrediting standards and collaboration with leadership to enforce medical staff policies. Some tasks involve annual preparations and interactions with credentialing coordinators to maintain accuracy and timeliness.

Competenze

• 3 to 5 years experience preferred.
• Certified by National Association medical Staff Services or Certified Provider Credentialing Specialists preferred.

Mansioni

• Develops, manages and monitors processes and procedures that supports the centralized credentialing and reappointment of all providers.
• Serves as a resource for facilities medical staff committees.
• Ensures compliance with accrediting and regulatory agencies in regards to credentialing.
• Guides leadership through medical staff policies and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
• Collaborates with credentialing coordinators to present accurate information to medical staff and leadership.
• Directs inquiries for the corporate medical staff office in leadership's absence.
• Coordinates and prepares end-of-year medical staff work.
• Researches and determines medical staff appointees' ability to perform acts in hospital settings.
