AdventHealth in Palm Coast, FL is seeking a Credentialing Specialist to manage physician privileging within approved criteria. You will maintain Medical Staff bylaws and serve as a resource for hospital departments, updating databases and coordinating monthly calendars.

Responsibilities include coordinating credentialing processes, authorizing access to hospital systems, and communicating with medical staff officers to research issues and gather information.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred in healthcare, business, or related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of credentialing processes and bylaws is essential.

Responsibilities

• Collects and verifies physician information for privilege requests.
• Maintains knowledge of Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules and Regulations.
• Coordinates appointment, reappointment, and privileging processes in a timely manner.
• Assists with access to hospital computerized services and serves as liaison to medical staff.
