Job summary

University Medical Center of Southern Nevada is seeking a Credentialing Manager to oversee daily department operations and ensure compliance with credentialing processes. The role supervises staff, audits funds, and coordinates complex schedules within a major hospital setting.

The candidate will manage the complete credentialing workflow, from initial application to final approval, and analyze productivity reports to drive continuous operational improvement. A NAMSS certification is required.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare or Business Administration or a closely related field, and five (5) years of experience in medical staff management or related field in a major hospital setting.
• Licensing/Certification: NAMSS CPCS or CPMSM certification.
• Knowledge/Skills: Broad knowledge of credentialing, privileging, CMS/NRS regulations, and related hospital policies.

Responsibilities
