Job summary

Huron Regional Medical Center is seeking a Medical Staff Coordinator to provide administrative support for credentialing, call schedules, and committee activities. You will collaborate with physicians, hospital leadership, and credentialing services to maintain accurate provider records and ensure timely credentialing.

The role requires organization, communication, and discretion, with duties spanning meeting support, data tracking, and quality initiative assistance within a hospital setting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or associate degree in healthcare admin or related field preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in medical staff credentialing or provider office preferred.
  • Experience coordinating with physicians and hospital leadership is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate provider credentialing and enrollment with outside services.
  • Maintain provider records and deadlines with confidentiality.
  • Manage provider call schedules and committees.
  • Prepare meeting agendas and minutes for Medical Staff/Executive Committee.
  • Support quality initiatives and provider performance reporting.
  • Provide backup administrative support to executive leadership when needed.
