Job summary

University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington, VT seeks a Medical Staff Compliance Coordinator to ensure providers meet documentation requirements for membership and privileges. You will monitor CME, immunizations, training, dues, and certifications to keep providers up-to-date and compliant with regulatory standards.

This role requires collaboration with physicians and staff, and experience with credentialing, privileging, and medical staff services.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in business or healthcare related field required.
• CPMSM and/or CPCS certification desired.
• Minimum of 3 years in health care administrative support or provider data field.
• Experience with Credentialing, Privileging, and/or Medical Staff Services including working knowledge of Joint Commission standards, CMS requirements, and applicable Federal and State regulations.
• Experience working with physicians and other providers.
• Experience with provider management software systems, specifically related to medical staff data and/or credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and track CME, immunizations, compliance training, and health exams to ensure up-to-date provider credentials.
• Track medical staff dues and specialty certifications for privileging.
• Ensure documentation complies with regulatory standards, state regulations, and policies.
• Maintain integrity of medical staff data and credentialing processes.

Education

Associate's degree in business or healthcare related degree

CPMSM and/or CPCS certification desired
