Summary - Flexible Contractor/Freelance Opportunity 1099

IMMEDIATE NEED

This is not a full-time or part-time job. This is not a set-scheduled job opportunity. This is not an hourly pay job opportunity.

The Medical Site Credentialing Specialist will be responsible for completing onsite surveys/audits for local medical clinics to ensure requirements are aligned with ULG client expectations.

ULG will provide each credentialing specialist with a required checklist to be completed.

• Must have access to a tablet or laptop
• Must have access to Acrobat Reader and MS Excel/spreadsheets

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Visit local clinic locations to review and verify checklists for licensed practitioners to certify their compliance requirements.
• Validate building accessibility, physical appearance of facilities, and facility setup.
• Complete survey checklists.
• Keep the manager informed of concerns or problems with credentialing processes.
• Manage confidential information with discretion, privacy, and in compliance with laws such as HIPAA.
• Review medical record-keeping practices, patient scheduling processes, and other policies as needed.
• Perform other duties as reasonably requested.

Education, Experience & Skills

• Associates Degree preferred or relevant professional experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in credentialing and/or auditing in a regulated environment.
• Ability to interact effectively with community, operational, and clinical personnel.
• Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
• Detail-oriented with strong research skills.
• Organized decision-maker capable of working independently and in teams.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, database programs).
