Job summary

Alakaʻi Services and Poe'hana Group, Inc. seeks a Medical Simulation Operator to set up, operate, and troubleshoot simulation equipment for realistic training and battlefield medical readiness. You will work with mannequins, task trainers, surgical simulators, and related tech to support U.S.

military training environments. The ideal candidate has 3+ years as a simulation technician, experience with healthcare simulation technologies, and a prior military medic background.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a simulation technician/trainer (healthcare simulation experience preferred).
• Prior service as a U.S. Armed Forces medic strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in simulation technologies (human patient simulators, task trainers, VR systems).
• Ability to troubleshoot and maintain complex simulation equipment.
• Experience leading train-the-trainer programs and providing constructive feedback.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot simulation equipment for training scenarios.
• Contribute to design, development, testing, and implementation of training materials and scenarios.
• Provide support to MMS TPOC and coordinate site travel and post-trip reports.
• Operate AV recording systems and debrief simulation sessions.
• Coordinate student logistics and provide admin support for site travel.
• Create troubleshooting documents and lesson plans; assist trainings.
• Provide after-action review data and track metrics.
• Ensure timely response within 3 business days and issue resolution within 30 days.
