Job summary

Riverside Health is seeking a Simulation Technician to support all simulation operations at the Riverside Simulation Training Lab in Newport News, VA. The role includes running, maintaining, and repairing simulation equipment and related computers.

You will work closely with the Medical Director and Lab Manager to deliver high-quality simulation-based educational experiences for customers and trainees.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or tech-field program completion required.
• 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• CHSOS certification required within 3 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain simulation equipment for training sessions.
• Prepare simulators and moulage to create realistic scenarios.
• Provide technical support and training to staff on equipment and software.
• Manage inventory and coordinate equipment needs for the lab.
• Assist with data collection, policy development, and confidential tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
